Description
I'm a huge Mantha fan and think he's being criminally undervalued. He plays with bottom 6 players and gets zero PP time yet still produces and is a strong possession player. But if Caps are going to be stupid and trade him, they need to trade him for an equally strong player that maybe is also struggling on their current team.

How about Mangiapane? He's a strong possession player who isn't producing well this season (on pace for 33 points). Mang is 2 years younger, has 1 more extra year on his deal, and get's paid slightly more. Mantha would probably fit in well with a Sutter system as well. Could be a win win for each team looking for players that want a new start.

Mangiapane has been reunited with Coleman and Backlund, that line has been borderline perfect since they got back together, I don't think the Flames can move on from that at this point, I really like Mantha and I think Mangiapane is just going through a really bad stretch but all the metrics are there that he could pop off in the second half. He's shooting at half his career average shooting%. Don't think Mantha is worth disrupting that line.
