I think NSH would absolutely take that. Miller is still a clear upgrade over Johansen and if a team considers him an upgrade then the term would actually be favourable as long as the acquisition cost is dirt cheap.

No, no he cannot. Not only is his contract awful, but he's got a bad reputation and seems to be largely disliked. Picking him over Horvat will go down as a tremendous blunder for the Canucks who will struggle with mediocrity for the next decade or so

I wouldn’t trade Joey for Miller. Joey fits the Preds’ scheme, while Miller would get exposed in the Preds current system. No need or want for him here

Johansen only has 2 years left at $8,000,000 per to Millers 7 years at $8,000,000 per. Pretty sure Nashville turns it down.

Yea, the never-ending term of Miller makes him untradable.
I'll disagree with the Canucks picking Miller over Horvat. They could sign both...but they should have traded Miller either last TDL or this TDL (as a UFA). Same with Horvat.
Futures and cap would have really helped the Canucks, if they have managed the cap with good signings.
