Foegele is strickly cap ballist. If theres a similar short term contract around 2-3 mil that is preferable (like puljujarvi) thatd work as well.

Campbell is sent over for nashville to buy out in the summer. The cap hit isnt bad but it is 8 years long. Buying out campbell opens up 3.5M next season for extensions to the rfas. Kesselring is sent along with Campbell as partial payment.

Yup, he's always been a streaky goalie, just happens that he started on a cold streak. Seems like a knee jerk reaction.

Meanwhile Markstrom is in year 3 of his 6 year x $6M deal and has been below average 2 of the 3 seasons (plus underperformed in the playoffs of his 1 good season) but I don't see people on here treating him like a cap dump or buying him out. Why is it just Oilers players that get that treatment?
