I'm all for adding a winger to bolster the scoring but I feel as if the offered value for 50% retained is not enough. It would most likely require us to trade a high-end prospect, this years 1st round pick, and the 2024 2nd round pick + maybe someone they can plug into the lineup and start right away like Engvall, Kerfoot, etc.

I don't think a winger is the right move. A centre who can bolster our depth scoring and still be great defensively is the add I would make. And I wouldn't move Engvall. The guy is good.
