According to Illegal Curve podcast, Jarmo Kekalainen was in Wpg scouting a Moose game. Possible this could be Heinola, but I think the Blue Jackets have a glut of D men in that mold and may be looking for what Stanley provides.

Caps need to shed space, Jets should have the deadline space to take all of Ellers cap hit, he's big, can slide up and down the lineup, positive analytics, and a 50+ % faceoff guy which the Jets are in need of. Because of the Caps cap issues Harkins going the other way may be enough.

Hamonic might allow the Jets to park Pionk, everyone believes he's likely hurt. At very least gives Jets RH options on the back end.

1 or more of the depth players may be lost to waivers as well.
