The flat cap really broke hockey logic didnt it.

We went from **** our star is gone to how can we break the system and keep him out till playoffs and abuse the system

That said knowing Matthews by February 12th he should be back as thats the kind of guy he is

Yeah, all for good fun, but could pull a Tampa move! This team would certainly be right there with Boston as a favorite. Toews and Kane leadership in addition to locking in the top 6 and 3C plus McCabe on defense and Lafferty has been a stud on the PK not to mention a buzzsaw on the forecheck and backcheck, would make this team very hard for Boston to get past.

You're overlooking Lafferty...guy would be great for Toronto. Plays fast, great on the forecheck and backcheck and heck of a PK player; also top 5 in the league in shortys if not mistaken.
