Why would Dubas trade his 1st for rental Mayfield? He already has Holl and Timmins who can both play 3D. He'll use his 1st elsewhere. Mayfield might be a slight upgrade but not enough to warrant giving up a 1st. Luke Schenn will be cheaper if Dubie wants to bolster his D depth.

Hmm you're kinda at the bare minimum offer there, might need a little sweetener of some sort. But maybe not, because it's convenient. Dunno, seems like it's very close.

Agreed. A 3rd round pick for Greiss is a massive overpay, so if you add that to the "about right but slightly off" for Tarasenko and Barbashev... I'd be tempted to say yes to this.

Or they could just keep the 2nd and 3rd, and switch it to Bolduc. That would certainly get the job done unless somebody else offers something insane.
