I’m not keen on the idea of moving Ruzicka and Boeser should come with some retention for that ($1.65mil would be ideal), but how do we afford him next season!? Same goes for Schenn

Would be much better if we could convince Markstrom to waive his NMC and head back to VAN in exchange for Boeser, especially if they decide to move Demko out

I doubt we'd want Marky back (based on age and state of Canucks). I think retention definitely makes sense for this trade though. $1.65M seems fair.

Yeah I don’t know. I mean lots of Goalies play till they’re 40, but VAN chose Demko over Markstrom, so is there any animosity or can Markstrom even go back there!? He had some good years there, so maybe, but more likely the answer is doubtful
