Petersen deal is really bad for the jackets. They don’t need those picks and they already have one bad goalie contract

I agree that’s too steep. While Nyquist does have some value because he’ll be back for the playoffs, it won’t be a ton because he’ll have to fit in on the fly, which is very difficult, and he also has appeared to lose a quarter-or-half-step this season anyway.

I could see a conditional second at best, but it should be more like a 6th or 7th that improves to a 3rd or 4th based on performance .
