Description

I understand that it is unlikely that any of these players are dealt but I wanted to see if the trade package would entice the fanbases to move on from these guys. The teams listed in the trades are all non cup contenders and could look to shed some expensive players/future contracts for some young assets. I am not saying Detroit should make these deals but if Yzerman wants this team to contend for a cup soon they need a true 2C. Copp isn't getting it done, he would be a better fit for the 3rd line. Ignore my use of the 2024 and 2025 1st round picks. The trade would include the 2023 1st rounder, I just can't use it multiple times.

Also, not sure if Reinhart can play Center but I know he was projected as one and played there in Buffalo.

Nick Schmaltz in Arizona, probably for a 2024 1st and Veleno, His contract was back loaded and I can't see Arizona paying him 7 million plus in real dollars now. We can get him at a great cap number for his production for 3 more years.
