Not a fan of Brassard. Want a more long term 4C guy. Aho is solid I think we’d need to throw in Hugo for that to go through.

Why would the Isles give up a cheap, serviceable LD3 for that package? Even if they upgrade on Aho at LD3, they'd probably prefer to have him as the 7th D over an extra 2024 3rd rounder.

Personally, I'd take that Aho deal - you've got Samuel Bolduc, Robin Salo, & Parker Wotherspoon on hand to be LD3/7th D, and getting a 3rd rounder for one year of a replaceable guy is not a bad deal. ABB & the 7th are gravy to me - Barre-Boulet would bring some high-end skill to Bridgeport and potentially be a call-up if someone gets hurt (imagine having him come up when Barzal got hurt instead of Otto Koivula?)
