Bailey is becoming a shell of his former self but still serviceable. Can fill Suters boots for next season. Only 1 year left on his deal then off the books. Free 2nd.

I'm ok with Clifton. I'd like a new backup goalie but that market is quite thin. It's anyone's guess who will get that job.

Islanders can buyout Josh Bailey and save $2.33M this year and only get a $1.17M penalty in '24-25. It would be asinine to waste a 2nd rounder on moving Bailey.
