Description

I don't see us being able to unload Kadri or Markstrom (I tried, and failed). I know leaf's fans will cause a riot over Nylander, but the way I see it: Toronto is very top heavy and needs to resign Matthews and Marner in a span of 2 years. Even with a 4MM bump in 24/25 that doesn't leave a lot of cap to build out the rest of the lineup. Mangiapane will kill it anywhere on their top two lines. Sutter did him no favors this year.

Rebound? Mangiapane had 1 crazy high shooting percentage season and set a career high in goals he'll never again reach. A mid 1st and a middle 6 40 point winger doesn't come remotely close to Nylander.

Fine value for Weegar but I just don't see Buff trading Mittelstadt, he's definitely apart of their future plans contrary to popular sabre fan belief

Since the Leafs are in win mode 23/24, (well least till TDL), the Leafs keep Nylander. If they can't afford him in summer of 2024, maybe the Leafs sign UFA Toffelli.
Actually I like the don't mind the Buffalo trade but the Sabres gotta think Weeger"s new contract for eight years is good value for it ti happen
