See the Mrazek trade. This is essentially that but you get an extra 7th and a prospect (Michigan native, too). Murray can be shoved into the minors, but unlike Mrazek, he's actually still an NHL caliber goalie. Just overpaid. You're getting more for him than Leafs got to take him on, and his stock hasn't dropped since then. Besides, it's not like Detroit has many goaltending options at the moment. Their next best goalies for next year after Husso who aren't UFA's are ECHL goalies who haven't played well at the AHL level (Cossa, Lethemon). Even if y'all resign Hellberg, he's ideally an AHL starter. This trade is actually pretty decent for y'all.

O'Reilly taking Home town discount btw. Probably like 3,750,000 for 3 years is his next contract. Sheary, Bunting, Acciari and Aston-Reese all gonna want more. add another 500k on Bunting Contract, add another 1 million on the Sheary contract, add another 750K on the Acciari contract and add another 100k on the aston Reese contract
