By adding Tanev, Konecky and retaining on OL, you've make those two players 12.25m cap and given up assets too. Certainly a UFAs could be acquired better/cheaper and with term, even if meant giving Oluffson away .

That trade is already an overpay for a guy with a one-year contract. Buffalo should be looking for a partner for Owen Power that will not be gone in a year. I expect Adams to look at free agency to fill that vacancy before overpaying in a trade for anyone.
