Description

Not the scenario I expect BG to take things, but this is a way you could make some meaningful changes to the roster, create some cap room, and hold onto exciting young or deadline acquired players. It ships out Goose, Foligno. Figures out a way to keep Johansson AND Nyquist while re-signing Gus, Duhaime, Shaw and Addison, but trading Steel for whatever you can get or letting him walk altogether.

I think you’d have to pay draft picks to move off Goligoski, especially given your cap situation. I’d say Goligowski and a third for future considerations, but we don’t really need that.

There might be a deal to be had for Foligno to Detroit, but we're not giving up anything higher than a 3rd or B level prospect.
