Description
Buffalo had a successful season, as they were in the hunt almost right near the end of the season, which is a position they haven’t been in for so long! If they add a little more to their defense and sign an experienced goaltender to back up Levi, they should be a playoff team as soon as next year (I hope they are and I’m not even a Sabres fan).

Hawks decline. They'd want a F prospect or another 2nd in place of Ryan Johnson. Hawks don't need any more LD. And why would the Sabres want to acquire Muzzin? They don't need his cap hit to reach the cap floor.

The value seems fair but I'm not sure why the Jets go out and get UPL

As already mentioned....LHD is the last place the Hawks are looking for a prospect as they have both quality and quantity there. I still think the Murphy trade is Rosen, the Philly 2nd and Bryson for Murphy and a 3rd. Murphy is a perfect vet middle pair RHD on a decent contract (3 more yearsx4.4) to pair one of the young LHD the Sabres are blessed with. Rosen is a very good prospect (but probably not quite what his draft slot was at this point), but at some point he is a wing and Sabres only have 6 top 9 wing spot to fill and I don't necessarily see Rosen being the best (and certainly not only) option. Hawks are not moving Murphy for a 2nd (they have 4 already) and a redunant prospect at a position that is by far the deepest in their prospect pool.

I think the Leafs keep the pick TBH and let Muzzin support the Leafs until his contract is up

I might be in the minority, but I think the Isles would do that trade, especially if they can move Bailey in a separate trade. I think Olofsson could be a good fit on the other wing with Bo and Barzal.
