Taking everything into account, there is no way Buffalo does any of these. Leaf fans, you might move Marner this summer but it won't be to Buffalo so please stop.

Don't worry, Leafs will have no business trading Marner to the Sabres either. Sabres have no prospects, only 5'9" 150 pound prospects that will likely have a good career in the AHL at best. Leafs will look elsewhere where there are better roster players AND prospects

Even if the Leafs were to trade Marner to Buffalo, Kevyn Adams would get absolutely fleeced. I think it's best for Buffalo to stay away
