That is so far from getting 3OA. Not one of those pieces are enticing for Columbus. We don't need wings, or RHD unless they can play a defensive role on the top pair, and we definitely don't need the 11OA pick.

If you want 3OA, we can talk about Petterson, otherwise, keep moving.

The Jackets will use the pick to get Carlsson/Smith/Fantilli or use it in a trade to get a bona fide stud 1C. Period. Miller ain’t it. Miller’s contract has bad written all over it. In order for Van to move that contract, considering their current position of being over the cap already, Van will need to eat about 30% of that contract to make it appealing and get a positive return. Otherwise, Miller ain’t going anywhere. The term on that contract is just entirely too much risk for most teams to take.

No. The Jackets are hardline on getting a C. Any trade for that pick has to have a legit 1C coming back. The Jackets don’t need wingers.
