The usual nonsense of making a trade based on an extensions. Horrid trade for the Ducks. Bad trade for the Leafs to acquire Goodrow. No way the Leafs want seven years of Sanheim.

Have fun getting anything close to that for a rental

Not sure who says no faster Matthews with his NMC or The Ducks as soon as any of Terry, Zegras, 2023 2OA, Drysdale, McTavish, Luneau, Gaucher, Zellweger or Mintyukov get mentioned

You could add Matthews for free to ANA and they still aren’t a playoff team. This makes less than no sense for the Ducks

I doubt either Lindholm or Nylander would sign for $7.5M. I think they will be looking at the $8.5-9M range. Next year the cap should go up quite a bit, which would be the perfect scenario for free agents.
