Buffalo lets make a deal

Value wise we'd have to add quite a bit, but our forward group is pretty set next year

Nylander just doesn’t fit what Buffalo needs. Their top six is essentially already settled, and they already have lots of young forwards they want to try to fit into the lineup in the next couple years. They would be more interested in trying to trade for Timothy Liljegren, but I’m not sure why Toronto would be interested in helping them out.

Buffalo would have to add enough assets that we can use to acquire a player that is better than the difference between Olofsson and Nylander or we would just be getting worse. by a lot. Olofsson has finish but he doesn't have more finish than Nylander or the ability to drive play. Lets be in the business of getting better rather than sending guys packing for worse players and picks.

I would rather target Timmins than Lilijegren, but that could just be personal bias.

I believe they're both Swedish. /s lol
