Description
Canucks with the below roster finish the season with a top 5 draft pick and a great shot at Kiviharju or Celebrini.

I would then also trade Kuzmenko & Hronek at the end of the season for a mixture of high draft picks/prospects.

I don't think the Petey deal is extreme. And definitely wouldn't accept that for Petey. He's extremely underrated despite his growth and production this past season. The other ones are intriguing.

The reference to 'extreme' is in regard to the Canucks trading away Petey, Quinn and Miller.
Agreed that it's under his value, but it's near on impossible to obtain fair value for league stars, it just doesn't happen.

On CBJ's end, a deal structured like that doesn't really make sense cause their blue line would still be a mess. They can't be giving up their 2 best D prospects when the blue line is currently more or less Werenski and friends.

If a Petty deal is entertained by Vancouver, I think it'd only work if it's centered around pick 3 and/or Kent Johnson. That way Columbus doesn't completely gut their D prospect pool and what they're trading for the 1C they need so bad is what they'd otherwise be using/hoping to be that.

Spitballing, I think that 3rd ovr + KJ for Petty feels like fair value. That seems like the type of deal that Vancouver fans would say isn't enough and CBJ fans would say is too much, so it's probably in the sweat spot where the value is close.

Absolutely great idea on the Anaheim trade, and I would accept as the Ducks' GM. Nice!

Devils have 0 interest. Quinn is a novelty to the Devils, not a need. We have Luke and Dougie that can bring what he does. We are not giving up a former #2OA STUD defender, a top 5 redraft in Mercer, and another 1st on top of that. Quinn will be a devil, but that'll only happen when he comes for free in FA. Keep dreaming canuckle heads.
