Description

If Michkov goes at 4, it is possible the Jackets and Montreal might make a trade to get Montreal Leo Carlsson and the Jackets Will Smith. Also along with that the Jackets pick up Dvorak to help create depth at C while they wait for Will Smith.

The Calgary trade looks a little suspect but there is some sense to this trade. The Flames have very limited cap space. They also need depth and they need to fill roster spots. This trade accomplishes that while not taking on much cap. Moving Tanev and getting Peeke and Boqvist to fill the hole is very intriguing for Calgary. They may not be able to sign Lindholm back so this may be a move to help create stability while they wait for Zary to be NHL ready.

If Calgary is selling Lindholm they will have almost zero interest in Roslovic outside of just making the cap work. They would be looking for a return similar in value to what Chicago paid for Jones

IDK why CLB would trade down. Unless its 100% guaranteed SJ go for Michkov, there is a big chance Smith is a Shark

Why would the jackets do that first trade? Besides being terrible value jarmo isn’t missing out on carlsson
