Laine has been underproducing and injured while in Columbus, so I think the deal is fair and maybe the classic change of scenery is a win win here in this scenario.

Can’t see the jackets trading laine unless it’s for a legit 1C (no Kuz is not a legit 1C anymore). They don’t need prospects either. Laine was the jackets best forward when healthy last year. To be honest I don’t the the caps have anything that would entice them to move laine. I do think they could be interested in Kuzy just not for a high price
