TBH I don't see why the hawks would do this as they'd probably wanna collect/keep as many picks as possible.

yeah that's valid- it's less about the hawks perspective and more about the leafs perspective. They could definitely flip him for a 3rd to some team who wants some more depth scoring in the regular season lol
