Canes pass. Olofsson isn’t a fit. Not a great skater, bad defensively, and soft. He would be a 4LW for us if at all.

Canes don’t desperately need a scoring winger, especially not Oloffson. He’s got value with that retention but poor fit.

Drop him and bump the pick to a first and that’s probably a deal they accept.

Make the pick 13th overall and make Olofsson Joki, and I think the Caens do it. Especially if Pesce is coming with an extension

#13 in this draft + addition assets would be needed for Pesce. I just don’t see a lot of exciting pieces Buffalo would trade that would entice the Canes.

Something like 2023 #13 & #39 + Olf or Lyu half retained would be a min offer.
