That's a really bad trade for Columbus considering their needs. Garland is a luxury they don't need, with the price tag of one and term. Other pieces don't move the needle at all either. I wouldn't be interested in that even if it was just Boqvist. Only kind of move I could see Columbus making before the season is either a D man for picks/prospects or a package for a top 6 C (though that seems increasingly unlikely day by day)

Yeah jackets should hold onto boqvist unless there’s a top 6 C or a first round pick coming back. Definitely not trading him for a cap dump
