Teams don’t pay for cap dumps

BOS has no interest in JGP, he’s a down grade from Zacha and Coyle. Along with JD being the cheaper, younger and more offensive player. Also JD did a good job on the PK last year so the only thing Pageau brings is faceoffs, which he is good at don’t get me wrong, but that’s hardly worth top 6 winger.

JD is only getting traded if we cant get an extension done, and even then BOS will likely get better offers than Pageau, or atleast futures that they can turn into a better center.

Nashville bought out more productive players than Palmieri. Also just signed a player with similar stat lines to a contract at just over 3 mil a year. This is a trade that doesnt happen unless you are sending significant additions nashvilles way.

I wouldn't trade Trent Frederic for that package, let alone add DeBrusk & Grz
