Can’t imagine Boston or Toronto saying yes. Boston might if Scheifele has an extension as part of the deal, but their prospect pool is getting thin and they’re starting to need a retool, that 1st is gonna be hard to get.

Just doesn’t make sense for Toronto - Samsonov at $4.9M x 4 years os better value than Hellebuyck and whatever extension he gets. He’s be a rental and then gone and that’s too much for a goalie rental.

Zero chance of Connor Hellebuyck committing long term with Toronto. It's basically been reported by both Friedman and LeBrun and others that Hellebuyck wants the States only. So Treliving isn't trading Samsonov for a one year rental in Hellebuyck.

Pens take that and run before you change your mind.

Leafs have no interest in the more expensive rental Hellebuyck. Wow, it's overpay anyway. Besides Brodie doesn't waive to Jets.
Bruins might do the deal, but they really don't have the cap. Florida doesn't have the cap either.
