Lol well he's 30, has played 2 seasons in the NHL, one with 45 games and the other with 6. It took him until the age of 29 to crack one of the worst rosters in the league, the reason he is cheaper is because he's worth less. He expires at the end of this year but you need to pass on a guy who scored 20 goals last year to save 1.2 million for 1 year I guess.... Not to mention the fact he's currently injured and incredibly injury prone.

First year he made the league was when Crosby said what he said about him and they were a middle of the pack team that year in part thanks to players like him giving above average performances in 4th line roles. He had 2 goals and an assist in 6 games last year before he had a season ending shoulder injury. But of course, you're a better judge of skill than Sidney Crosby.
