Yeah its super sick, bottom 6 forward was a great depth piece for some team last year and getting bottom pair dman at that cap hit is amazing.
I mean some people mightnthink you overpaid for petterson when he's got a 10mil cap hit but that only because they're 100% right.
That move to get a lower 1st back than what you spent to pick nice looking player like mitts is great if only you could get minnie to throw in a cap dump too.
All in all tho adding a 10mil 1st line center who can't get his team near the playoffs to a roster thats full of young talent was really what the sabres needed. Been the buzz all year, if only we had a number 1 center instead of all these prospects and we need to add skill.

Also can't wait to see the sabres try to fit Skinner, Thompson, Tuch, Quinn, Cozens, Peterka, Kulich, Savoie, Benson, Rosen, Ostlund, Kisakov, Poltapov, Neuchev, Whalberg all in the top 9 good call on that one.

Lastly, Petterson is a legitimate 2 way stud who scored over 100 points this past year. He is easily worth the 10+ AAV price tag IMO
