There's been a bit of disturbing trend lately of EDM AGMs paying absurd amounts for 4th liners. Where did this come from? There's nothing about Fischer's game that suggests he would be a fit in any team's top-6, let alone one pushing for a Cup. If you're giving up a 2nd+, aim higher.

Also, Broberg + a 1st strikes me as quite an overpayment for Durzi unless you're predicting he'll breakout in a big way, in which case, why would ARI move him? They have a need for exactly his player type (offensively talented RD).

It's the Holland disease, it's contagious...

I agree Yzerman signed Fischer to make the team tougher to play against and Bottom 6 is is where he'll be.

I like Durzi A LOT as a TDL move but that is quite too much. Arizona paid a 2nd. Obviously it was a tad low and TDL prices are usually higher along with retention.

A 1st and a unproven prospect like Bourgault makes more sense as Broberg is already a contributor on an ALL IN team.

AZ in all the interviews Ive seen didnt get Durzi to trade (he is RFA next year) they have some good D prospects but durzi is more offensive minded than any so I see AZ keeping him
