I'd put my two cents in if I had any, Hart's value will be up in the air depending on how well he plays this season.

There are quite a few d-men of better or comparable ability slated to become FAs next summer, it would make no sense for the Hawks to trade draft capital to acquire a 33 year old d-man.

Also consider that the Hawks will have so much cap space available that they shouldn’t be outbid if they really want a player. Additionally, they have about a half dozen D prospects that will be battling for NHL opportunities over the next season or two.
