While it is definitely a possibility, Detroit needs to get a top 6 center otherwise they aren't a threat in the playoffs which I'm sure Kane knows.

cant see giving Kane 2 years unless it's a VERY good cap hit. even 4 mil is risky to tie up in a guy coming off major surgery. id give him 1 year and see how his hip goes.
