A Good Fit IMO

I don’t think the Sabres should add forwards with too much term unless it’s a star imo. Have so many young guys itching for a spot.

Arizona would have to consider that package. Not sure they hit accept, but it would be worthy of consideration for them.

Crouse is huge (like Tuch), would be a super interesting add in my mind. I know a lot of Buffalos recent high forward draft picks have been smallish (I may be missing someone). Crouses size could make them dangerous.

As a Leafs fan, I can see how scary Buffalo is becoming. (I said the same thing about New Jersey 2 years ago).

I think that's going to be the general consensus, and I can see why. But I think that adding Crouse and his unique skillset to the forward group makes the team a lot more dangerous. They kinda tried to do that with Greenway, but he's just not good enough. That was a mistake imo.

In any case, at some point I think teams need to use their glut of prospects to add a sure thing. Buffalo is in that boat. I'm tempted to go for a defenseman, but I really think this makes just as much sense. But again, I expect more folks will share your view than mine.

I don't think Arizona will move Crouse, at least not now. They view him as a part of their core, and the term on his contract probably keeps Arizona from considering moving him.
