Studnicka, Rathbone, Brisebois, Hirose all go to Abby.

On the fence Podzy, b/c he has to battle Pearson, Hoggy, PDG and Dries for two spots spot in the lineup and 1 on the bench. Podzy is better served playing games and is the only one that doesn't need to cross waivers to go up and down to Abby.

Hawks have absolutely no need for another mid level LHD prospect. Even though the ask is only a 6th round pick , I think the Hawks would decline.

Hopefully Dries is nowhere near the NHL roster.

I think Mikheyev starts on LTIR to buy some time. By the time he'd ready to come back we could have another player on LTIR. Pearson is also likely to be healthy out of camp.

I have Pearson, Hoglander, Joshua, Studnicka and Di Giuseppe all on the team, Mikheyev on LTIR with Podkolzin, Aman, Dries and Raty in the AHL. Hoglander requires waivers so unless he's injured or traded he's in the NHL. Joshua gives us toughness and Tocchet seems to like him along with Di Giuseppe. Tocchet also mentioned last season that Studnicka got sick and lost some weight in the second half of the year so I expect him to look better (along with him being right handed and able to play center giving us lineup flexibility). I expect Podkolzin to be recalled quickly and often.

On defense, the top-5 is clearly Hughes, Hronek, Soucy, Cole and Myers as of right now. I'd expect Wolanin to take the last spot in the lineup as a LHD with Irwin and Juulsen as extras. Rathbone, Brisebois and Woo waived with Hirose, McWard and Johansson in the AHL.
