Kahkonen to Colorado with Francouz Still Injured

They arent going to give a 2nd for kahkonen when they can get desmith who is cheaper and better for a mid round pick

Unless Francouz is going to miss significant time, which doesn't seem to be the case, Colorado isn't desperate for a backup. And unless Francouz is out for the entire season, they can't really afford to add another goalie making any significant amount of money.

I'm sure the Avs are examining options, but I highly doubt they're looking at anyone who makes more than what can be fully buried. And I don't think they're looking to give up much in the asset department either, as whoever they get is more of an insurance policy than anything.
