My IDEAL deadline for Flames

Flames get a unprotected first in 2025, a interesting prospect in Olausson who has slightly decreased in value and cap relief with the removal of Girard.

Aves get an elite player in his prime in Lindholm, who will make an already dangerous top 6 even better. Contract can be extended due to Girard cap being moved. Oesterle replaces Girdard on back end. 6th round pick for pick for pick

Flames get a great prospect in Rosen. Sabers already have a stacked prospect pool, and can afford to offload one of them. Olofsson comes over due to cap reasons. 1st round pick in 2024 is top 10 protected, that switches to a 2025 top 5 protected if needed.

Sabers get a huge help on the back end with Hanifin. He will make an already scary/ up and coming defence look even better for a playoff push. Extension can be added. Backlund helps the third line and PK massively. Both come at half cap retained.

Flames get a top 9 center who can hopefully help fill the void of Backlund being traded.

Kings get goal tending help. The team is close to being one of the best outside of their net. Vlader should help / take the lead over Talbot and Copley. Kings can afford to get rid of a center.
