No real need either. He'd be an upgrade over Middleton, sure, but if the Wild are moving a 1st and a prospect, it would be for some help at center.

Colorado will probably go for a cheap backup/#3 via waivers for cap reasons. Unless Vladar is 50% retained he probably isn't an option for them.
