I think this is fair

I would pass if I were Montreal. I never liked the Rakell contract (although he had a great year last year). At least Anderson is HUGE, so if he can get a little bit of his game back, his value will return a bit quicker.

I wouldn't give up Wifi to make this swap.

We dont really need rakell and we would rather let anderson play out his contract than giving up Xhekaj.

Anderson would be good on that 3rd line with the pens, but at 5.5 AAV thats way too much.

If the pens look at trading rakell to acquire cap space, they shouldnt acquire a worst player on a worst deal.

Even without Xhekaj, MTL would rather stick with Anderson
While he can’t buy a goal, he does different things
He is also younger than Rackell
And Marty St-Louis likes him a lot, he’s playing more ice-time than ever

I've never been interested in aquiring Anderson. I don't really care about the "Hornqvist style" of play if he isn't effective. Right now, hitting is the only thing I really think he brings to the table that O'Connor and Zohorna aren't. There are players who can do what we want out of Anderson much better.
