Pittsburgh largely declines. We don't need cap space that bad. Smith is worth more.

I can't see Seattle being super interested in that swap. Garland's a decent player, but Seattle already has a couple players like him; middle six wingers at not exorbitant, but not insignificant cap hits. Poolman's a negative asset given his career is over (wish him the best) and Seattle isn't in LTIR. Borgen, meanwhile, is an important piece of the Kraken defensive structure; given how their roster is built, he's more useful to Seattle than Garland would be.
