Those are pretty fair comps, I am actually surprised the returns for those players were that low TBH but I can guarantee you one thing. Anything similar to the first trade is definitely off the table

it makes sense since we have no incentive to pay to get rid of him. if we get any pick without any retention i would call it a victory. if he is retained i think we get a pick back.

The 1st trade is one of the most horrible that I ever seen for Allen..........................

And stop saying that Allen is a cap dump at 50%, because he is not a cap dump at all.

If his contract didn't have that second year attached he'd be a valuable (as in like be able to return value) asset. But tbh even 50% retained teams probably don't want to lock into Allen next year. Would rather just evaluate at the end of the year and see what's out there in FA or trade

I saw a report (a tweet linked in a story, translated to English) saying Hughes didn't want to pay to move Allen and didn't want to retain...even if that meant no return.

So at full salary...maybe 6th or 7th rounder.

But who knows? Sounds like there are a lot of buyers in goalie market
