I imagine the Canes would rather just take out Raanta, Ylönen, and Drury and just do picks/pick and a prospect for Allen. Raanta takes up minimal cap in the AHL and Ylönen doesn’t fit anywhere in the Canes’ lineup.

Canes have no interest in Allen. He isn’t an upgrade, and with it sounding like Freddie might only be a month away from returning, they aren’t going to bring in a goalie and clog up the works any further.

Okay fair enough, might as well keep Raanta in the deal though since it adds a little cap flexibility for the Canes and the Habs could eat that contract easily. What do you suggest?
