Description

I thought it was going to be a wasted year for him, but it appears not. I like his game and feel like he'd be good in Colorado.

Went big on the trade here, as I feel like moving on from RyJo would be beneficial, especially for next season, but it could also just be a simple trade for Lundestrom with a little bit of retention. Curious to hear some thoughts.

He could be our 3C though, lol.

But in all seriousness, I took the below proposal and kinda ran with it. Personally, I see moving Zegras to the wing as the best solution to the "problem" of too many young and talented Cs, but I feel like it's at least a possibility that someone gets moved.

I'd like COL to add Lundestrom, but I'm not sure they have the trade pieces for a reasonable 2C (Not sure if Colton is there yet) and filling out the bottom six. It seems like COL's FO is more focused on 2c, but I've been wrong before.

The idea here is that they aren't able to pull off a trade for a 2C and instead go with a couple darts that improve the middle six as a whole. Lundestrom has upside, and perhaps Henrique turns out to be a better fit than RyJo. It's not as good in the immediate term as adding Lindholm, but chances are they won't be able to do that.
