I would be very surprised if the flyers move off Laughton for a second and retain that much for 3 years. That type of move is at least a first

I'm not going to argue value but, the offer doesn't do anything positive for Buffalo, they have picks, they have young players in the system (AHL\CHL\etc) and already in the NHL, why move the current #1 center.

Yeah, I think Philly would have a tough time getting a caliber of player like Thompson, I can't really think of any team that would have a guy of similar age or point production. Maybe Thomas in St-Louis if they decide to do a serious rebuild but, even then at 24 I'd consider him a valuable piece to rebuild with, not trade away.
