That and why would Toronto want him back when they perfectly fine letting him leave. And to buy for him too boot by spending assets. Such a trade would lead to a complete firehouse with Leafs upper management, all GMs, presidents, coaches, development coaches including those for Marlies would be instantly fired after the tarde was made.
