Name the last young goalie traded with his pedigree? I think people are so caught up in the fact that average older goaltender can be acquired for cheap that they forget that most GM’s enjoy being employed and a great young goaltender is a good way to maintain employment.

It is an overpay, but I can’t recall a goalie with Swayman’s age and performance ever being traded. Also, we are seeing several good young teams being derailed because they went cheap at goaltender and those players have failed. I’d argue that the Kings have had the least impact in that area though the goalie many thought would be the player (Copley) wasn’t good before he got hurt
