Description
When you're once again the best team in the league approaching the trade deadline, what do you do? Sold out last year and it was arguably worth it because Bertuzzi and Orlov were arguably your best players in the playoffs, but I think that's the problem. Our best guys need to play well in the playoffs and I think Sweeney knows that, so the approach this year should be to get a few extra pieces and be okay with your core. But I threw a fun trade in there for kicks that would be if they go all in again.

The tough thing is, there isn't really a convincing package the Bruins can put together for big names. I think they should ideally try to pull 2 needs in one trade so focus all their trade chips in one basket.

Also I think they move DeBrusk if they decide they can bring in a better winger for cheaper. I just hope it's Phil the Thrill.

You are not getting a 2nd for Grizz

Way too much for Middleton/Maroon.

Unless Debrusk vehemently tells FO he is not willing to sign or is going to explore free agency before listening to Bs offers he is not going to be traded.

why are there a dozen grzelcyz to AZ proposals a day - AZ is not taking on rentals (and giving assets esp a 2nd), it makes no sense

Grz is getting cap relief. Not a 2nd. He’s basically the Beauvellier of defenders. No reason to trade him

What would you do for the Wild deal? Can't deny both would be good on the team
