Roslovic probably goes for a little higher pick (like a 3rd), there's not really any need for another AHL forward so Meyers is kind of zero-value to Columbus, just a body if Colorado needed to ship out a contract.

I'm not a fan of the Grubauer trade...he's older, worse, more expensive Elvis. Similar numbers, but Grubauer is on the much better team. If there was a swap, the pick balance doesn't go Seattle's way.

I'd take the Peeke deal in a heartbeat, I'd be happy to see anyone just...take him.

to be fair to meyers, there is a large percentage of avs fans that think he should be playing nightly in denver, not loveland. but yeah, he's a fringe nhler. i think he'd become a fan fave with more opportunity.

very true. Meyers has shown some promise this season in a bottom 6 role. the 15-20 goal scoring projection some Avs fans thought he was going to have isn't reality. I do think he is an NHL player though that's still adjusting to the level.

Meyers might have some sneaky value. He should be in the NHL but only has one game before he needs to run through waivers. A team that can give him a chance may be pleasantly surprised.
