Jets are flush with young forwards who have top-6 potential at the moment. Trading Ehlers in the offseason would likely have to be a hockey trade for an established RHD of similar value (and cap hit).

I don’t think JG or JS are waiving their NMCs to leave.

Plus, I’d rather have Johnny. He’s got more a playmaking style to his game, which is what we need.

Where to begin…Matt Roy is going to cost a lot more than that. 6MM per is my guess. Neither trade is even close to being viable. Noah Ostlund isn’t even close to being ready…or a fourth liner for that fact.
